Willie Thomas, Jr; 83 of Grovetown, Ga. Entered into eternal rest on Friday, August 18, 2023. Mr. Thomas will be missed by his loving family and friends. His Life and Legacy will  be celebrated with a Visitation/Viewing, Thursday, August 24, 2023, 2-7pm at Martin Taylor Funeral Home, 911 Appling Harlem Road, Harlem, Ga 30814. Funeral Service will be held on Friday, August 25, 2023, at 12 noon, at Woodlawn CME Church, 1473 Old Appling Harlem HWY, Harlem, Ga 30814. Interment will follow in the Church Cemetery. 

He is survived by his wife of 58 years, three months and three weeks, Rev. Annie Mae Thomas; two sons, Jeffery (Wanda M.) Thomas and Melvin Jones; six grandchildren, Xavier Clark,  Octavius (Lashae) Clark, Willie Bernard (Letavia) Thomas, Jeffery B. Thomas, Jr., Chasity and Brandy Jones; four great grands; two brothers, Mike (Mildred) Thomas and James (Blondell) McElroy; two sisters, Peggy Thomas and Laura Thomas; a special friend, Ursalis Clark, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
