Mr. Samuel Lamkin, Sr., 87, of Harlem, GA entered into eternal rest on Thursday, January 30, 2025. He will truly be missed by his loving family and friends. His Life and Legacy will be celebrated with a Visitation/Viewing, Friday, February 7, 2025, 2-7pm at Martin Taylor Funeral Home 911 Appling Harlem Rd, Harlem GA 30814. Funeral Service will be held Saturday, February 8, 2025, 12pm at Wesley United Methodist Church 825 N. Belair Rd, Evans GA 30809 and he will be lying in state for one hour, prior to Funeral Service. Interment will take place at Bellevue Memorial Gardens 4501 Wrightsboro Rd, Grovetown GA 30813. Please continue to keep the Lamkin family and friends lifted up in prayer as they navigate through this time of bereavement.
He leaves to cherish his memory his wife of almost 66 years, Betty Dorsey Lamkin, daughters, Sandra (SJ) Lewis, Gloria (Coy -deceased) McCladdie, and son, Samuel Lamkin, Jr., Grandsons, Carlos (Brandy) Lewis and Travis McCladdie; Great-
grandsons, Grant and Grayson McCladdie; siblings, Carrie Lamkin, Hogan (Judy -deceased) Lamkin, and Linda (Haywood) Harvey; Sister-in-laws, Julia (James -deceased) Lampkin, Jerry (Vernon -deceased) Dorsey, James (Catherine) Dorsey and Urelester (Betsy) Dorsey; a dedicated support group, Tanga Gibson, John Jones, Melvin Jones, Evette Richardson, Trina Greene, Lester (Gene) Dorsey, Alfonza Dorsey and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
