Roderick C. Jones, 69, of Harlem GA, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, December 1, 2022. He will truly be missed by his loving family and friends. His Life and Legacy will be celebrated with a Visitation/Viewing, Wednesday, December 7, 2022, 2-7pm at Martin Taylor Funeral Home 911 Appling Harlem Rd, Harlem GA 30814. Funeral Service will be held Thursday, December 8, 2022, 11am at Second Mount Moriah Baptist Church 842 Appling Harlem Rd, Harlem GA 30814. Interment will follow at South Harlem Memorial Gardens on S. Bell St. Harlem GA 30814. Please continue to keep the family and friends lifted up in prayer as they navigate through this time of bereavement.

He leaves to cherish his memories his loving wife of 47 years, Louise Jones; Sisters: Edwina Crump and Gennie Mae Simmons. Brothers: Hugh Jerome Jones (Brenda), Ricardo Jones (Shireen), Kelvin Jones, Darrell Jones and Marion Jones. Mother-in-law, Aleen Tankersley. Sister-in-laws: Dorothy Tankersley, Penny Smith. Brother-in-laws: Walter Griffin, Henry Beard, Gary Tankersley (LaShanda) and Dolfus Tankersley, Jr., God-children: Celeste Ferris and Hulon Ferris (Jennifer), and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
