Mr. Mr. Robert Willie Stokes, Jr. 85, of Evans, GA entered into eternal rest on Monday, March 3, 2025, at his residence. He will truly be missed by his loving family and friends. His Life and Legacy will be celebrated with a Visitation/Viewing, Friday, March 7, 2025, 1-6pm at Martin Taylor Funeral Home 911 Appling Harlem Rd, Harlem GA 30814. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, March 8, 2025, at 11am at Gospel Water Branch Baptist Church 703 Furys Ferry Rd, Evans GA 30809. He will lie in state 1 hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Oakey Grove Baptist Church Cemetery 911 North Belair Rd, Evans, GA 30809. Grandchildren; Noah Robert Anthony Greene of Savannah, Georgia and Harmony Serafina Grant of Evans, Georgia. Two sisters; Almetta (Bennie) of Martinez, Georgia and Mary (Raymond) of Martinez, Georgia. One brother; Isaac Stokes of Evans, Georgia. Three brother-in-laws; Johnny Frails of Harlem, Georgia, Leon Sullivan of Washington, DC. and William D.  Kennedy of Evans, Georgia. Six sister-in-laws; Alice B. Sullivan and Johnnie M. Kennedy of Evans, Georgia. Barbara Sullivan of Baltimore, Maryland. Dorothy B. Johnson of Lauringburg, NC. Helen Sullivan of Washington, DC. Denise Stokes of Martinez, Georgia. Three Godchildren; Shelby Renee Irby of Martinez, Georgia. Da’Shawna Garnett and Alaisia Douglas of Augusta, Georgia. And a host of other relatives and friends.
