Mr. McGahee Luke, Sr., 70, of Evans, GA entered into eternal rest on Sunday, January 19, 2025. He will truly be missed by his loving family and friends. His Life and Legacy will be celebrated with a Visitation/Viewing on Friday, January 24, 2025, 2-7pm at Water Branch Baptist Church 5708 Wrightsboro Rd, Grovetown, GA 30813 (*Grovetown, GA). Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, January 25, 2025, 12pm, also at Water Branch Baptist Church 5708 Wrightsboro Rd, Grovetown, GA 30813 (*Grovetown, GA). Interment will be at Hammond Family Memorial Cemetery (*Evans, GA). There will be a Repast following the Interment at Gospel Water Branch Baptist Church 703 Furys Ferry Rd, Evans, GA 30809  (*Evans, GA). He is survived and cherished by his loving and devoted wife and forever love Mrs. Cassandra Hammond Luke; their daughters Prisana Luke Johnson, Magaela Luke Bethune, and Areaka Luke; and their son McGahee Luke, Jr. He also leaves behind an older son he affectionally referred to as "Doc"; sisters Ella Mae "Al" Brunson, Carrie Bowdre, Catherine Burns; grandchildren - Nehemiah "NeNe", Naomi, Sean, lan, and Kohl, Trinity, Jadyn, Israel, Janiya Johnson and Jailyn Johnson; and a host of beloved nieces, nephews, family members, employees, church members, and friends.
