Retired SSG of the United States Army, recipient of a Purple Heart and Bronze Star, Karl A. Fields, Sr., 84, of Harlem, GA entered into eternal rest on Saturday, March 29, 2025. He will truly be missed by his loving family and friends. His Life and Legacy will be celebrated with a Visitation/Viewing on Thursday, April 3, 2025 from 2-7pm at Martin Taylor Funeral Home 911 Appling Harlem Rd, Harlem GA 30814. Funeral Service will be held on Friday, April 4, 2025, 12pm at Simonia Baptist Church 543 Louisville Rd, Grovetown, GA 30813. He will lie in state 1 hour prior to the Funeral Service. Military honors and the Interment will follow in Simonia Baptist Church's Cemetery. Please continue to keep the family and friends lifted up in prayer as they navigate through this time of bereavement.​

He leaves to mourn his precious memories, Children, Karl A. Fields, Jr., Janice (David) Ivey, Dorothy (Carl) Cooper, the late Margaret (Michael) Reese and Robert (TaNisha) Bradshaw. 

He was also a grand, great grand and great-great- grandfather to whom he loved and cherished all.  Two sisters Audrey (Charles) Ghapthion and Florence Meadows, two brothers, the late Bobby Fields and Tony (Linda) Meadows, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Love to you all.
