Mr. Joseph Moment, 78, of Harlem, GA entered into eternal rest on Friday, January 24, 2025. He will truly be missed by his loving family and friends. His Life and Legacy will be celebrated with a Visitation/Viewing, Thursday, January 30, 2025, 2-7pm at Martin Taylor Funeral Home 911 Appling Harlem Rd, Harlem GA 30814. Funeral Service will be held on Friday, January 31, 2025, 11am at First Mount Moriah Baptist Church 1876 Appling Harlem Rd, Appling GA 30802. The Interment will follow at First Mount Moriah Baptist Church Cemetery. Please continue to keep the family and friends lifted up in prayer as they navigate through this time of bereavement.

He loved his family dearly and leaves to cherish his memories, two sons: Michael (Shameka) Moment, Baltimore, MD; Marcus (Jovita) Moment,  Ft. Washington, MD; five siblings: Brenda (Walter) Sturgis, Grovetown, GA; Linda (Willie) Finks, Martinez, GA; Diane Evans, Harlem, GA; Gloria (Bennie) Palmer, Augusta, GA; Jerome (Mae) Moment, Hephzibah, GA. Five grandchildren: Elijah Redding, Ashley Redding, Jasmine Delaney, Alexandra Destout & Joy Moment; one-granddaughter. Ava Delaney; one sister-in law: Katie Hicks, Augusta, GA; one brother-in-law. Randall Collins, Sr., Martinez, GA and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins and friends; also a devoted friend, Elsa Moment.
