Mrs. Johnnie Mae Brooks, 92, of Evans, GA entered into eternal rest on Friday, November 17, 2023. She will truly be missed by her loving family and friends. Her Life and Legacy will be celebrated with a Funeral Service on Friday, November 24, 2023, 11:00am at Gospel Water Branch Baptist Church, 703 Furys Ferry Rd, Evans, GA 30809. Interment will be held at the Church's Cemetery, immediately following the Funeral Service. She leaves to cherish her memories: three sons, James (Frances) Stokes, Jr. of Evans, Ga; Cluease (Patricia) Stokes of Johnston, South Carolina; Freddie (Janet) Stokes of Atlanta, Georgia; one daughter, Claudine Taylor of Evans, Georgia; one daughter-in-love, Cynthia Pullins Stokes of Evans, Georgia; four grandsons, Jammie (Catina) Stokes of Danville, Kentucky; Robert Stokes of Evans, Georgia; Tabari Taylor of Jacksonville, Florida; and James (Tiffany) Stokes, III of Augusta, Georgia; two granddaughters, Erika Stokes of Evans, Georgia; and Jasmine Stokes of Grovetown, Georgia; eleven great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends
