Mr. Henry L. Lampkin, Sr., 79, of Philadelphia, PA, originally of Appling, GA entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, February 26, 2025. He will truly be missed by his loving family and friends. His Life and Legacy was celebrated with a funeral at Francis Funeral Homes, Inc. in Philadelphia and will also be celebrated with a Funeral Service on, Thursday, March 13, 2025, 11am at Solid Rock Baptist Church 2944 Scott's Ferry Rd, Appling, GA 30802 and he will lie in state 1hr before the service. Henry will be fondly remembered by his sons: Henry, Jr.(Ta`i) of Philadelphia and Leon (Tish) of Raleigh, NC; one sister, Ethel Colvin of Augusta, GA; one brother, Robert Lampkin, Sr. of Hephzibah, GA; two grandsons; Leon, Jr and Leveon; a myriad of children and grandchildren who experienced his fatherly guidance and called him "Dad"; a large host of nieces, nephews, and cousins; as well as extended family.
