Mr. Henry Albert Beard "Preach", 78, of Harlem, GA entered into eternal rest on Saturday, March 22, 2025. He will truly be missed by his loving family and friends. His Life and Legacy will be celebrated with a Visitation/Viewing on Friday, March 28, 2025, 2-7pm at Martin Taylor Funeral Home 911 Appling Harlem Rd, Harlem GA 30814. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, March 29, 2025, 3pm at Second Mount Moriah Baptist Church 842 Appling Harlem Rd, Harlem GA 30814. He will lie in state 1 hour before the Funeral Service. Interment will take place at Second Mount Moriah Baptist Church Cemetery 510 S. Bell St, Harlem GA 30814. Please continue to keep the family and friends lifted up in prayer as they navigate through this time of bereavement.

Henry leaves to cherish his memory: his stepchildren, Gweneva Jackson and Aleta (Daniel) Massey, step-grandchildren, Nyema Showers and Danielle Massey, siblings, Moses Beard, Hattie Beard-Usher, and Cleveland (Jackie) Beard; sister in-laws, Earnestine Beard, Edwina Crump, Shireen Jones, Louise Jones, Gennie-May Simmons, brother in-laws, Charles Womack, Darrell Jones, Kelvin Jones, Jerome (Brenda) Jones, a devoted niece, Lillian (Gerald) Beard-Gatling, and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.​
