Mr. Darren Moore, of Hephzibah, GA entered into eternal rest on Friday, November 7, 2025. He will truly be missed by his loving family and friends. His Life and Legacy will be celebrated with a Visitation/Viewing on Tuesday, November 18, 2025, 2-7 pm at Martin Taylor Funeral Home, 911 Appling Harlem Rd, Harlem, GA 30814. Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, 11 am at Good Shepherd Baptist Church, 1714 Olive Rd, Augusta, GA 30904. He will lie in state 1 hour prior to the Funeral Service. The Interment will follow at Mt. Olive Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 3666 Deans Bridge Rd, Hephzibah, GA 30815. Please continue to keep the family and friends lifted up in prayer as they navigate through this time of bereavement.

Darren leaves to cherish his memories: his mother, Carrie Moore of Augusta, GA; sixteen kids, Cornelius "Cornbread" Mickens, Charles "CJ" Pates Jr., Darren "Jay" Moore Jr., Kavuan Moore, Cherrel (Robert) Glenn, Gerald "Jr." Moore, Darren "Jay" Moore, Davion Deboskie, Brendan Harris, Brianna "Bebe" Harris, Darriana Moore, Mya Moore, Darren "DJ" Moore, Destiny Thomas, D'Asia Moore, and Donnie Moore, all of Augusta, GA; five sisters, Beverly Thomas, Lurraine Ely, Robin Carter, Evelyn Thomas, and Leslie Thomas, all of Brooklyn, NY; four brothers, Willie Ely, Jr., Lance (Robin) Ely, Larry Ely, Lenny Ely, and Shawn, all of Brooklyn, NY; two aunts, Rounett (Willie) Moore Barnes and Betty (Rufus) Moore Berth, both of Augusta, GA; fourteen grandkids and a host of nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
