Mr. Curley James Sparks 78, of Augusta, GA entered eternal rest on Friday, May 29, 2026. He will truly be missed by his loving family and friends. His Life and Legacy will be celebrated with a Funeral Service on Saturday, June 13, 2026, 12pm at Friendship Missionary Baptist Church, 2543 Deans Bridge Rd., Augusta, GA 30906. He will lie in state 1 hour prior to the Funeral Service. Interment will follow at Summerville Cemetery, 2301 Cumming Road, Augusta, GA 30904. Curley leaves to cherish his precious memories his loving wife of 35 years, Iris Sparks, of Augusta, Georgia; his beloved children, Tanya Sparks, Curley Sparks, III, Takia Stewart, Ronaqua Daniels and Curley Sparks, IV (Shanel); he also leaves behind his devoted brother, Ronnie Sparks of Augusta, Georgia; his loving sister, Patricia Rocke, Augusta, Georgia; nine grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and a host of nephews, nieces, family and friends.
