Ms. Carrie Bell Steed, 94, of Harlem, GA entered into eternal rest on Saturday, April 5, 2025 at her residence, surrounded by her loving family. She will truly be missed by her loving family and friends. Her Life and Legacy will be celebrated with a Visitation/Viewing on Friday, April 11, 2025, 2-7pm at Martin Taylor Funeral Home 911 Appling Harlem Rd, Harlem, GA. 30814. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, April 12, 2025, 2pm at New Hope Baptist Church (Campania) 441 GR Tucker Rd, Harlem, GA. 30814. She will lie in state 1 hour prior to the funeral service.  Interment will follow at New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery (Campania). Please continue to keep the family and friends lifted up in prayer as they navigate through this time of bereavement.

She leaves to cherish her memory; Two sons, a very dedicated loving and caring care giver for a number of years, Ulysses Steed, and Jackie Gibson, both of Harlem, Ga. Seven daughters: Cathy Gibson, Deborah Gibson and Barbara Taylor all of

Grovetown, Ga., Pamela Steed of Harlem, Ga., Regina (Jerry) Curry of Dearing, Ga., Donna Moore of El Paso, Texas, and Emily (Ronnie) Ficklin of Thomson, Ga. A sister Bessie Henderson and a brother, James (Mecheroy|) Jennings both of Atlanta, Ga. Two sisters-in-laws Mrs. Brenda Jennings and Regina Harris. 28 grandchildren's, 57 great grands and 29 great-great grands. And a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
