Mr. Allie Cartledge, Jr., 84, affectionately known as "Dick Cane" of Harlem, GA entered into eternal rest on Monday, January 19, 2026. He will truly be missed by his loving family and friends. His Life and Legacy will be celebrated with a Visitation/Viewing, Friday, January 30, 2026, from 2-7 pm at Martin Taylor Funeral Home, 911 Appling Harlem Rd, Harlem GA 30814. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, January 31, 2026, 12 pm at Piney Grove Baptist Church, 4101 Randall Rd, Dearing, GA 30808, where he will lie in state, 1 hour prior to the Service. The Inurnment will be held privately. Please continue to keep the family and friends lifted up in prayer as they navigate through this time of bereavement.

He leaves to cherish his memories: loving wife Carrie Cartledge, a son; Detric (Rena) Cartledge of Harlem, GA, three daughters; Sherrie (Horace) Johnson of Thomson, GA, Sharon Raiford of Augusta, GA, Sharicka (Bill) Samuels-Johnson of Mableton, GA; An extended daughter Pamela Williams of North Augusta, SC; a sister Amy Lee Dorsey (the late Johnny Dorsey) of Harlem, GA; five grandchildren: Shaequitta Johnson, Alesheia Johnson, Kendra Smith, Andrew Smith, Braelen Samuels; three great-grandchildren; a special grandson Xavion Williams; sister in laws Ezella Edwards and Ruth Williams of Harlem, GA; brother in laws Timothy Williams, John Williams of Harlem, Ga and  Dan Williams of Thomson, Ga. a host of many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and additional friends.
